John Curran

John Curran - Chief Executive, LGIS

John has been working with QTC since its inception in 1988. In his time with QTC, John has specialised in the areas of financial sustainability, debt structuring and interest rate risk management and has been involved in building and implementing QTC’s client-focused strategies.

John has a keen interest in local government, having spent twelve years working closely with councils across Queensland to achieve the best financial outcomes for the communities that they represent. In 2007 John led the QTC Team which reviewed the financial sustainability of 109 local governments in Queensland. Prior to joining QTC, John spent over 10 years with Queensland Treasury. He holds a Bachelor degree in Commerce.

  
Anthony Coates

Anthony Coates - Director, LGIS Operations

Anthony Coates is responsible for overseeing the operations of LGIS and has headed up all of LGIS's water and energy efficiency projects, including the ClimateSmart Home Service, Home WaterWise Service, and One to One Water Savings program delivered for a range of State and Local Government clients.

Anthony has designed and managed some of the world's largest water and energy demand management projects, including projects delivered directly to residential and business customers and broad ranging education and communicaiton programs, across multiple levels of government. He actively participates on national and international water efficiency committees, ensuring LGIS projects are at the international forefront and continuing to add value to government clients.

Anthony's background in marketing and communication, project and program management, policy and strategy development, and demand management ensures all projects delivered by LGIS combine the application of critical project management processes with a thorough understanding of client and consumer needs.

Anthony holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Communication and Marketing Management....
