Pressure and Leakage Management Project
![]() | One of the largest network demand management projects to be carried out in Australia, the project delivery of the south east Queensland Pressure and Leakage Management Project was managed by LGIS, in consultation with councils throughout SEQ. LGIS's role in this project involved regional coordination and support for 11 south east Queensland councils and 3 Queensland Government agencies. The total cost of the project was $80 million with $32 million provided in subsidy from the Queensland Government. The project aims to provide water savings of 10 per cent of all water used in south east Queensland (based on the project commencement date) which equates to 60 ML/day.
